There are 2 ways in which to create a spreadsheet:
a) In the Mathematical Programming and Design of the Excel Spreadsheet
b) In the Macro Programming and Spreadsheet Design.
(The design goes hand-in-hand with the programming, as a well designed spreadsheet is simple to use.)

Case Studies of our client history:

1) An application was created in Excel for a real-estate investment business to do forecasting of wealth and net worth over time given several different scenarios. Mathematical Series Analysis was used as the spreadsheet was created to be free of macros. All work done was original and pertaining to our client’s very unique business model. We keep all business specific policies private and confidential to protect our clients.

2) An advertising Agency approached us to help them track their employees’ time allocation for each of many different projects. The system was set up so that once employees open their own timesheet spreadsheet, it would automatically update itself by retrieving data from a management template on another server across a network. They would then enter their hours. Once that was done, the new information would update several different management spreadsheets in different locations. The reason for doing this was to preclude the use of links which were problematic and slow to update as there were too many to update quickly. This gave management the data they needed to assess cost, progress, performance and enabled them to keep a close eye on their customer quotes. This was done automatically through Visual Basic Macros.

3) A cash machine collection agency wanted an automated data tracking system to keep track of all the cash machines which were repeatedly not collected as a way of monitoring and enforcing policy compliance and risk management. A system was
developed to sort and filter the data based on an analysis algorithm that was created at Excel-lentsolutions.com to manage the task.

4) A dialect coach in the Hollywood Entertainment Industry spent 12 hours sorting the dialogue of his celebrity Actor clients. An original algorithm was designed using Visual Basic to check each and every word in the Actor's script against a known database of sounds. Each word was then classified according to its sounds and sent to a Word Document for easy printing.

5) A retail business approached us to handle their monthly sales commission report for their sales force of several hundred. The data for all staff came in on one Excel spreadsheet. That sheet was then automatically analysed depending on the class of the sale or sales employee and the commission was calculated. A separate read-only document was created and automatically sent to the employee by e-mail, notifying them of their commissions - both front-end and residual commission. This was done in one go for all employees without any user input.

6) A client wanted an Excel front-end for an Access database, mainly because of the ease of use of MS Excel and the familiarity of their staff with Excel. The solution enabled the client to work with Access’ powerful database engine, without the need to train their staff on Access.

These are some of the projects that have helped businesses save literally hundreds of man-hours paying an employee or several employees, to make the decisions, do the e-mailing, or the calculation. We have programmed the computer to do it systematically, more efficiently, and in seconds what might take a human several hours to achieve.
